Death’s a fierce meadowlark: but to die having made
Something more equal to the centuries
Than muscle and bone, is mostly to shed weakness.
The mountains are dead stone, the people
Admire or hate their stature, their insolent quietness,
The mountains are not softened nor troubled
And a few dead men’s thoughts have the same temper.

Today, i want to talk about Chris McCandless.
Such a great man, my admiration, inspiration and his life story.
Chris McCandless aged 22, after graduating from university, begins his journey to Alaska, “Into The Wild. ” Throughout this journey, he expects to find answers to questions he has. Questions about his life, his family, his existence and his purpose.
During this journey, he finds companionship, forges bonds, gains experience and knowledge.
End of the road, he realizes a simple thing that answers some important questions in his life.
“Happiness is only real when shared.”
If you deserve to know more about him and his life, please do research about him.
I just want to share a poem about his beatiful message that i wrote.
Serap
Mesafeyi yalnız kat edenler,
Ufukta mutluluğu serap ederler,
Gerçek olan saadet halbuki,
Paylaşılınca hakiki.
I wanted to write this poem in my native language, Turkish.
Christopher Johnson McCandless, you are a true man.
You will always be cherished by the souls that connect with yours.
